My Audi A4 was a fantastic vehicle too. Better than nearly anything I've
ever had that was built in North America. Yet, it suffered more problems
requiring EXPENSIVE repairs than I ever have had in all of my Jeeps
combined.
When we got married, my wife had a Toyota Corolla which was simply terrific.
In those days, the Toyotas were essentially poor-man's Mercedes in build
quality. But the exhaust systems rotted out on them, the timing belts needed
replacing and even in 1993 they had random acceleration issues that scared
the tar out of you.
I see no reason to change from Jeeps anytime soon.
