ARGH no, the price of the CV 180mm went somewhat beyond what I was
prepared to pay for it, I would never have though
it would almost make $600 in OM mount! Crazy!
We'll see what this Bigfoot goes for, at least it's starting out with
no minimum bid / reserve, so the
market will decide. Not that I have a need for it, I am rather in love
with the Zuiko 90/2.0 Macro, which is
smaller and faster still, and has a look about the images which I have
never seen elsewhere ("Leica glow" my ass!)
but I will watch the auction with great interest nevertheless.
Mike, I must admit I becoming more and more of a CV fan even though I
have not used any of their lenses so far.
I find their lineup, past and present, absolutely fascinating. If I
were a M-mount shooter, I would long already
own a CV Heliar 50mm f/3.5. What a special lens :-)
