That's very kind of you (blushing).
I will surely buy an M9 at some point, but only after prices have fallen to a
level that I am willing to pay. Right now, an M9 costs 4800-4900 GBP in the UK
or around 5500-5700 EUR on the Continent. No way will I pay this.
With the M8, I always said that I would buy one if I could get a new one for
2500 EUR or less. So, in December 2008, when Leica UK was running a 600 GBP
cashback rebate and everyone was discounting, I picked one up for net 2140 GBP,
or around 2300 EUR at the time, including a 2-year Passport warranty.
I expect similar deals to be available on the M9 in the second half of 2011,
depending a bit on how quickly the economy recovers. I will get my M9 then.
Cheers,
Nathan
