That's a fair point Andrew.
However part of the problem was that I did not want to commit to a higher bid
with another 3 items finishing within 15 minutes. It got VERY busy ;-)
I had used up my free snipes for the week...and my internet connection to
e-bay was playing up.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and if I had known that I would get the other
items at such a "bargain price" I would have put a much higher maximum bid on
the adapter.
Still, as the adapter in the US shows they do turn up from time to time!

p.s not only did I get photo numbers mixed up a while ago (55/56) but also
misspelled your surname..sorry :-(
Could you explain the reference to "Maquarie." Ringleaders of the Chartists
Uprising in S. Wales were transported to Australia. Could not have been worse
than the conditions at the time in industrial Wales.
