AG's right, I just tried it and it fails miserably but it does that job
much better than it does being a loupe ;-) as for the doohicky (which
came to me all the way from OZ originally) I think its best that it
stays here for now. Especially because in getting permission to buy the
new FFDSLR I had to agree to a two year 100% tax deal on camera stuff -
I am hoping my accountant (me) can find a loophole - mind you all that
I am missing now from my collection to have absolutely no excuses any
more is a shift lens and a macro auto extension tube - Excluding flash
gear of course ;-)
