Make a set of Waterhouse stops to fit on the front. Not the ideal, in
lens location, but you might be surprised. SIMA and LensBaby both use
them. Old view camera lenses had slots to insert them into the best
place within the lens. There, though the distance from front to aperture
location could be several inches.
With short fl, so the distance from optimal locationis short, and
relatively narrow angle of view, so WA edge effects aren't an issue, who
knows?
