Recently I moved my computer work area in the house to a different room and am not happy with the current lighting set up. I am thinking of getting a ceiling fixture from Ikea http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90128179 and using a light bulb like this http://www.calumetphoto.com/item/ol20003/. I was wondering if any body on the list had any other suggestions that would not break the bank. I am trying to keep the lighting costs as far under $50 as I can get. Also any recomendations on how many lumens the light should be in the work area. I figure that I can measure with my light meters and I seem to remember there being a way to convert that in to lumens.
