Simpletons think that it's just going to get warmer everywhere. In
fact, there are increasing extreme effects in all directions,
including floods, droughts, storms and freezes - thus 'Warming' is a
bit of a misnomer. It's technically correct but confuses people when
the opposit happens locally. Climate Change or Shift makes more sense.
When I taught it all twenty years ago we had a catch all title of
Atmospheric Modification.
