I'm familiar with those Chuck and have something similar myself for 
attaching a drive temporarily in the rare event I have the need. However 
I require (and desire) the portability, simplicity and safety of a 
dedicated case at a minimal added expense. Though it has it's use I 
can't practically expect to throw that set up you linked in a pocket and 
take it with me. :-)
