If that means it's tacky, maudlin, cliché-ridden, obvious,
predictable, weak, derivative, fatuous, two-dimensional <g> and aimed
at the lowest possible common denominator...yup.
Frankly, I get very angry when a filmmaker treats me with such obvious
disrespect.
For me, the narrative is paramount.
Style must never become more important than function.
