No, NOTHING can make mp3's sound good. Sadly, we've allowed a
generation to dictate that music should be distributed as lo-fi
compressed individual downloads with no artwork, no liner notes, no
cohesive "concept".
It frustrates me and makes me sad. I only use AAC for feeding the iPod
and iPhone. I have a separate library on the Mac Mini installed in my
entertainment system which is all uncompressed, feeding my amp through
an optical connection. That's what I use when I really want to listen.
