No, I don't think they've taken away the free ride. As Bill stated the
free ride is only for auctions below $25. If you've previously gotten
apparently free auctions above $25 it just means you had some bid points
in your kitty. You've now used them up or didn't have enough for your
>$25 bid and have to replenish them. I did this once that I can
recall... I think a couple of years now. They've lasted for a long time.
