Not quite 31 years, but I recently had the pleasure of printing in the
darkroom a couple of negatives taken of my wife when she was 16 during
a modeling shoot by a professional photographer(also on HP5 film).
This was my first experience in printing somebody else's negative -
quite a nice feeling.
But the image quality was just fantastic, and I would one day also
like to print other people's negatives. Maybe after the wet prints
exchange, we should do a "negative" exchange, where we each send one
negative to be printed by somebody else?
Anyway, kudos to Ilford. And I personally adore HP5, it's the best
film to use with ultra-contrasty, modern optics (Mamiya 7-series
lenses, the later Zuikos, etc.) in my opinion.
