Not true. The S90 lens is a 28-105-e F2.0-4.9, while the G11 is 28-140-e 
F2.8-4.5

I am COMPLETELY hooked on the articulated LCD screen. I was sure I would 
love it before buying the A650. Since using it, well, it just makes so 
many things easy that were difficult or impossible on cameras without 
one. I can shoot over, under and around things where a DSLR viewfinder 
or the LCD on a digicam simply won't allow me to frame the shot. And it 
makes possible angles I can't get otherwise.

So the S90 and some other high end digicams weren't even on my radar.
