After going from bachelor to married with a beautiful lovely wife and 5
boys in 6 years and also gaining a huge swiss mortgage you can only
afford to be quaint ;-)
I think the swiss system is different from most other countries in that
they expect you to manage your money properly so you have one HUGE tax
bill a year (october) and the mortgage is split quartely and the last
quarter year end payment includes any amortisation, people wise with
money are ok, however for me I am usually skint ;-( from August to
December and then have a big spending spree in January :-)
I did manage to receieve a package yesterday though of some cases of
worthing creamflow beer, the best beer I have tasted for over 15 years,
I am so happy I can get it posted here even if I have to pay over the
odds. (britishcornershop if anyone is interested) and to top it off I
have also found a supplier of bacon and cumberland sausages in zurich.
