Excellent use of the comma to emphasize "again," though my preference
would have been an ellipsis. But then that usually means something
left out, though in a lot of fiction I read, it tends to denote a
pause rather than an omission. Perhaps a dash? <g> Of course this from
someone who routinely spells emphasize with a z and puts the comma
inside the quote marks. <wink>
