Hydrofluoric, not hydroflouric
and fluorescent, not flourescent !!
I'd be surprised if a fungus could do that. Fluorine is a pretty rare element,
quite apart from being super-reactive.
Rare is why we need added fluoride in our food in NZ, to build stronger teeth
in our kids. Fluorine is almost completely absent in NZ natural water.
