Nicely done, Nathan. I'm sure that you do love your hometown (I
would, if I had one), but isn't Denmark ever so ... flat?
>>
But this makes a perfect country for bikes.
In '95 I did a 2 weeks cycling holiday in continental Denmark,
some 900 Km, and enjoyed every single day even if I was alone.
BTW, I passed twice in Århus, the first time was the day I was
arriving by train from Hamburg. My final destination was further
north in Aalborg but the train stopped for the night at around
11 PM. I was quite hungry, and thought that at that time I could
only eat something at McDonalds that surely I would find in the
center of the city. I found one and while eating on the outsise
I was asked -in italian- if I were italian. This dane guy lived
some months in Italy and recognized my Invicta rucksack as a
typical italian rucksack. We chatted a couple of hours after.
