The E-P1 is a tiny, lightweight camera, thus much more sensitive to
vibration. The mirror is a source of it, but a focal plane shutter also is
-- especially one with such a complex cycle (close, open, close, wait, open
again)
It may be some kind of interference with the built-in IS. My dad does record
himself on video while playing the violin, camera on tripod, and he decided
to turn OFF the IS feature -- it kept rendering erratic movements trying to
"correct" my father's motion!

But they seem blurred sideways to me... probably not related to shutter
(which has vertical travel)
