Yes. And you can achieve the opposite -- the plain OM-2 behaving more or
less like the 2n, 2S & 4-series: just let the mode lever at the OFF
position! It will do properly TTL-OTF controlled exposures like in AUTO but,
if a full flash dump was not enough, it won't stay open longer than 1/30 or
so (depends on the ASA setting also).
Of course, no flash ready/check light in viewfinder -- that's what the
missing third contact was for!
