No, RAMA is pretty recent by my standards. Not a great book, IMO, and

Slow to get started, as I recall, but in the end, I finished and enjoyed
it. There's a RAMA II floating around here somewhere; something like
25-50¢ somewhere. I wonder if I'll ever try it.
This was something like The Cloud of Darkness, or Dark Cloud, or some
such. Certainly no newer than the 50s, probably earlier.
