It's not a fully finished review yet but here's Mike Johnston's initial
impressions of the Panasonic GF1 and Olympus E-P1. What's notable is
that he recognizes that the E-P1 is slower focusing than the GF1 but
(unlike others) doesn't consider the speed difference to be terribly
significant and doesn't understand why others do. He also very much
prefers the Panasonic's 20/1.7 to the Oly's 17/2.8 (why so slow?). This
first part of the review just covers individual features of the cameras
and his personal preferences. He will add overall usage preference and
cover image quality later on.
