Jeff
Thank you for your generous offer. I have plenty of glass at the long end. But
I know I had a 28mm Zuiko which is nowhere to be found. I thought maybe I had
sent it to Dawid in South Africa. Or maybe it is at work somewhere. Maybe not.
I will make do. Like Charlie G. said, maybe I will need a pinhole camera made
out of a lens cap (Charlie already knows what 2 of the pix are going to be.) I
also have a decent scanner, but it hasn't been fired up in a while.
Thank you again.
Clay

If you need a lens or two or three Clay, send me a message (preferred focal
lengths between 24-200) ... I've got a number of surplus lenses that I've
been intending on selling. They could easily be loaned out. I don't expect
to be doing anything with them soon.
John H had mentioned that he was curious to see the cameras after they
complete their journey. I'm all for that. I've got some items I need him to
look at. Knowing the cameras are with him would give me an incentive to get
a package to him so he could bill me for everything and ship everything back
together.
The key rule is to provide information that can be posted on the web
site(s). I haven't got my film scanner connected to my new computer but I'm
pretty sure I could succeed so if you need the film scanned, I should be
able to do it though not promptly.
THANK YOU Michael for keeping everything going!!!

Did I also send you a dinged up 28 mm Zuiko?

Hi Clay (and Russ and Frank and Dawid, too),
This is my translation of the original rules.
Film, lenses, subjects:
- entirely your choice
Images:
- choose four images
- scan them [or you could get JPEGs when you have them processed]
- resample/resize the images to 72dpi and 800 pixels on the long side
for horizontal, 580px tall if vertical
- save the images in the .jpg format
- email them to <jeffreyrkeller@xxxxxxxxx> copy <MRC.OO@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
- send a description of each image in the body of the email -
information such as the image's title, lens, film, aperture,
shutter speed, location, etc. and a little story about the image.
E.g.,
Title: Oil-soaked Birds
Photo Location: Upper Loon Lake near Premier Ed Stelmach's summer home
Exposure: not recorded, probably around 1/60
Lens: Zuiko 18mm f3.5 @ f5.6
Film: Kodak T400cn
Technical Details: Photo CD from the local photo lab
Comments: Looking across the pond, wishing for a Liberal government.
Cheers,
Michael
