Best I can tell, Keith, is "fewer digits = higher specification". Brief
enough?
Weather sealing is only found on single digit bodies, whereas art filters
and picture modes are not found on single digit bodies. Single digit bodies
have magnesium chassis, while triple digit bodies are polycarbonate
mouldings.
For more than that you maybe need to specify what aspects of the camera
attributes you are interested in.

Subject: [OM] Olympus Digital SLR Naming Scheme
Does anyone have a brief description (or link to one) of Olympus'
naming scheme logic for digital SLRs? That is, is there a standard
distinction between single digit (E-3), double digit (E-30), triple digit
(E-620, E-520)?
Thanks for your help.
