Cleaned up my OM camera case the other day and put everything back where it
belonged. At same time replaced the batteries in the Om-4t and the one in the
Om-1n. Have not shot photos with this equipment in over a year. I then got in
a short discussion on Photo.net about the 135 3.5 vs 100 2.8. A few days later
Cat was doing something interesting in front of the glass door so did I grab
the E-500 no not at first I reached for the Om-1n and put the 135 on it and a
out of date roll of 400 color print film in it shot off a couple of shots. I
realized that I missed the simplify of the OM- cameras not much to set not a
lot of buttons or menus. The handling and size is so much better in my
opinion. Do I have any photos yet no not from the Om-1n. I am only about a
third of the way through the film in the camera. I am not going to tell you I
looked at the back of the camera to chimp the photos but I did miss the
immediate feed back a digital gives you. I did grab the E-500 and the 50-200
and took a couple of shots with it. Oh and the viewfinder. Its like wearing a
dirty pair of glasses and then cleaning them. As much as I like my E-500 the
vewfinder has always felt cramped and dark. I am afraid to pick up the OM-4t
as I have a 2-13 screen in it. Well just some ramdom thoughts. John Gettis
