With my Coleman lantern and ancient Coleman camp stove I've always used
Coleman fuel which I believe is naphtha. The stuff seems to remain
stable forever as I've been using the same gallon can for 10 years (albeit
only a little bit at a time). No worries of it turning to gunk like
gasoline.
