Ha! People on other online forums always think I am full of nonsense
when I make statements
like that, but it is so true. I have found that scanning analogue
prints (which is the *only* way I
currently digitise my black+white) comes closer, but even that comes
nowhere near the "real thing".
I guess the same holds for scanning colour slide film - it's never the
same.
Glad you could get some darkroom time in again Ken, and I understand
your frustrations - a first printing
session like this never works out smoothly, always a bunch of
experimentation and frustration. Good luck in
light-sealing your work space better!
