Hi Sandy, Carlos.
I think that the Panasonic G1, GF1, are both going in the right
direction...apart from Video :0(
It is just that I have not had "hands on time" with the G1...although the Lumix
LX3 is superb!
I like the "look" of the GF1 over the G1...more of a traditional rangefinder
feel to it.
I realise that there are technical issues regarding viewfinders and
interchangeable lenses but it seems that manufacturers would happily do away
with the viewfinder.
Micro 4/3 is in its infancy. It has the potential to carve a niche market.
But as with all things digital who knows where we will go next? There are
advantages with digital...BUT weight is NOT
The main thrust of my previous post was that my equipment as carried was "too
bloody heavy" and I will have a serious re-think before I travel
again...probably to the Hong Kong Sevens in March.
