I like reading my gmail with the on-line gui - from any browser
anywhere - and it also supports pulling mail from other servers into
the one place.
And if you want a replica on your hard-disk it also supports that with
its off-line reader tool.

Jez, who doesn't work for google but would like to use Wave as a
replacement for mailing lists and finds it convenient sometimes to
attach (small) files to messages
