Now don't be rude !! When OM2s were new and OM4Ts weren't even a
twinkle in Maitani's eye, the OM10 was a "just" affordable OM 35mm
camera here. Mine was bought for me by my sister, in Hong Kong, when
she was on her way to the Himalayas, for something over $400NZ. Hong
Kong "new" prices were "much" more affordable than than new NZ prices.
She used it on the trip, then I shot thousands of Kodachromes with it. Her
instructions were to purchase an OM2, but the shop talked her out of it,
saying it was "over-specification" for what I needed, and the OM10 would do
just fine. I wanted the OM2 for what it could do with flash, I think, if my
memory is correct.
Yes, the OM10 did later have the oily magnet problem, but it was no big deal
to get it fixed, and I found it a great camera to use at the state of my
knowledge that prevailed then.
I still have it, with the Zuiko 50/1.4 it came with.
