Certainly so, since long people here are rescuing history from the
bottom of the Río de la Plata, now it's done systematically.
When a child, there were lots of bullets in between the stones of small
fortresses built in Isla Gorriti. They've been there since ca. 1750, and
tourists were allowed to pick them up (~ 1970). None are left now,
obviously.
