George, it's a lens adapter for Tamron adaptall-2 lenses to Olympus. Many of
the SP series lenses are quite good. There are 2 or 3 variations --- this one
needs the screw to the right of the word JAPAN glued shut (or flush) if used on
an OM-4 so it doesn't shear off the little button on the camera lens mount. I
would keep it...or mail it to me :-).

Does anyone know what this adapter is for? It is only marked OL JAPAN. It
came with some Olympus gear I acquired and I thought I had no use for it,
