Actually, I enjoy looking for those distracting elements. They
frequently make good shots. Yours is a good example. The landscape
purists might object, but landscape purists as a rule are engaging in
fantasy, anyway. (And I include myself in that.) The wonderful thing
about a camera is that it frames an image, and it doesn't matter a
tinker's dam what's just outside the frame.
