Thanks for looking, Chuck. Yes, it's a pretty landscape - when the river
is not flooding everywhere around ! :-)
Seems I'm finally learning how to scan Velvia, even outdated.
Perhaps you might remember a couple of birds I photographed on fresh
Velvia, maybe 3 years ago.
Those scans drove me mad.
Moose came in for help with one of them.
During summer 2007, I made several photos on fresh Velvia of some cactus
at blossom.
The green, that very mµ of green-blue drove me mad.
Ken came in for help with one of them.
These frustrating experiences led me to explore Lab, and who knows what
else ... I ended in disassembling the 4000ED to clean its mirror during
April '08 - !. It had dust, but a clean mirror didn't help. BTW, I
inspected the mirror again last Sunday (it's easy with a small concave
mirror, such as those used by dentists) - and it's still very clean.
Still didn't finish the cactus, but now I'm feeling more confident.
More to come.
Cheers,
Fernando.
