Here's a possible Panny µ4/3 without "prism" hump. As expected, no
optical finder or EVF.

Interesting styling. Oly went with retro-Pen nostalgia. Panny seems to
be aiming directly at the Canon G series. Makes a lot of sense to me.
The G series have been big sellers. I'll bet a lot of the owners have
picked them as a compromise, as there has been nothing small, but with
closer to DSLR IQ that's really usable. That's certainly a major reason
I have my alternate-G A650.
The 45mm Macro-Elmar is certainly Leia labeled, and one might assume the
shown 20mm pancake will be as well.
What I suspect will be better lenses and Panny's better AF to date will
be appealing to many. Personally, I've never been interested in the
Pens, range/viewfinder or F, and the G-ish styling is more to my taste.
AG semi-claims that many parts of the Panny's are made by Oly, so any
µ4/3 sale is money in Oly's pocket. Still ...
The E-P1 continues to puzzle me. Oly has labeled it a consumer model and
said that both higher and lower end products are to come. But the
pricing seems pretty high end to me. It looks to be essentially a bunch
of E-620 subsystemss, less the relatively expensive SLR viewfinder
components, but it costs $250-300 more.
I'm puzzled about the lenses, too. Up to now, Oly's DZs have been above
average by category. What's that all about?
