Oh hogwash. A well earned designation for a long difficult academic
journey. My Dad is a Ph.D. He was fond of conference calls at lunch
to catch up with my brother (also an endocrinologist) and me. I
remember the puzzled look in my officer manger's face the first time
she came to get me for the call: " Dr.Gordon, it's Dr. Gordon and
Dr. Gordon."
Mike (not a list Dr. of any sort--which is a very high honor in itself)
I have a PhD too (economics) but I have always thought it stands for
Piled Higher and Deeper :-)
Certainly nobody is allowed to call me Dr. Wajsman.
