Two weeks in the mountains of Colorado and of the serious photographers I
ran into, (which wasn't that many) about 1/3 were shooting film. Among
that, there were a couple 4x5 cameras but no medium-formats, surprisingly.
No other OM systems, but a couple of E-5xx cameras were spotted.
Meanwhile, the really cool scenes with outstanding lighting were all to my
own. I had a hard time believing I was the only person to have spotted some
of this stuff.
BTW, I did revisit "the house" in the San Luis Valley (N 37.663, W 105.829)
and was pleased to note the inclusion of another abandoned house just to the
west (N 37.663, W 105.855). Best camping spot in the valley is exactly at N
37.7482, W 105.5043.
Then there was that abandoned car west of Eads, and the two-hour rainbow...
