While galumphing through the web I came across this place:
http://www.millenniata.com/index.html
There was an article in a Utah newspaper touting this as a possible replacement
for long term archival. A DVD that etches the data into the media rather than
heating up a dye material.
The newspaper article was short on technical details as is the product website.
Anyone heard of this company?
I'm a skeptic, especially with anything that comes out of Utah. I came from
Utah.
