I just bought a bunch of film from B&H for an upcoming trip. I had a rather
interesting surprise as I was trying to get the best deals.
First of all, even though it isn't my favorite film and I've trash-talked it
lately, it isn't a bad film at all--actually more "usable" than my
favorite. Provia 100F (Import) is $4.99 a roll. Velvia 100 was $6.25. I
bought a bunch of both. Oh, and Astia 100F is $5.80. Fuji Processing
Mailers are $24.95 for a pack of five.
But what really sent me over the top was being able to get a film, which
I've used and it's OK--not the world's best, but still more than
acceptable. Fuji Neopan 100 36-exposure rolls are $2.29 each! That's less
than half the price of Kodak and Ilford films!
As to the "shameless plug"... if you click on the big banner add in the
margin on the www.zone-10.com website, we do get a few pennies on the sale.
It is much appreciated. Our thanks to those who have been doing this all
along. We have ads for B&H and Calumet.
