red faced reply follows.......Due to downloading initially from CF cards
I needed to use SanDisk reader. I then automatically continued using the reader
for the SD cards without thinking that Sd and SDHC cards are fundamentally
different beasts. I also failed to "realise" that the NEW laptop has a SD card
reader built in....which RECOGNISES SDHC cards.
Problem solved but "egg on face" :-0
