Thanks for the reminder of the LZ8. I had noted it as a potential P&S
buy when I saw that it was one of the co-winners of DPReview's "Budget
Camera Group Test" <http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/Q408budgetgroup/>
but then promptly forgot about it. It's good to hear you're pleased
with it.
The other winner was the Sony W120 with it being called the "best pocket
point & shoot" and the LZ8 being called the "overall winner". The LZ8
is the better photographer's tool (as Warren points out below) but not
so easily stuffed in a pocket.
