Thanks for that thorough yet concise summary of the issues. One
oddball exception to the statement below is the Z. 135 macro.
The dof preview button will close it to F4.5 where it otherwise is at
F4. When I use it on an adapter (not on OM) I don't fully engage the
lens onto the stop down pin so I can focus wide open with the
brightest view and narrowest dof. Actually I can't think of any other
lens like that, though they certainly may exist. Seems an odd design
feature. Perhaps the performance is significantly improved at f 4.5?
