Hi Dawid,
If it is only the spring that is loose or broken, you can easily check
that by removing the lens mount (3 Philips screws). In all lenses I
opened so far I could find the spring loeaded lever for the aperture. So
before sendig it in to John, or ordering a new spring this is an easy to
do test IMHO.
