Probably both. Those cheap Chinese lithium-ion batteries (and chargers) can be dangerous. Check the MSDS (page 2) for Energizer lithium-ion <http://data.energizer.com/PDFs/lithiumion_psds.pdf> You might recall this link which has been posted here more than once <http://t5r.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/e1/clonetests.htm> But it helps make the case for the overpriced brand name.
