She saw no problem just carrying the camera around in her hand, "I don't
need a strap". Knowing how a young person might handle the camera (and
may not think twice , I put on an authentic Olympus flat braid strap
without asking her permission.
When she came to pick it up, I almost begged her to use it "PLEASE use
it, don't take it off the camera, any damage from impact damage will not
be covered by the warranty". I'm hoping she took my advice.
