5800 Blue Parkway. Located in an old liquor store. Shady neighborhood--keep
the car door locked. You have been warned.

Gates, KCM and AB are all quality places but they have been homogenized to
the industry-standard "casual dining" experience. No surprises, no risk, no
reward. You can mistake any of them for Applebees only with edible BBQ.
LC's is a dining experience unique and worth the visit.
One of the best reviews is this on LC's. It's even complete with pictures.

One of my coworkers travels back to KC almost every weekend and he brings
back care packages for me once in a while. My fridge is stocked with LC BBQ
sauce.
