Indeed, it is. I was thinking about that yesterday wandering around
Acadia in fog and rain. At one point I stopped to chat with a nice
young lady who was driving the van for a walking tour. The folks
weren't there yet so she was just cooling her heels. She said the tour
members were amazingly cheerful for having booked their tour on a day
that turned out to be so wet. We spent a few moments discussing the
fact that part of the Maine experience is rain and fog and cold
weather in summer. Well, here it's really early spring, but you know
what I mean. It helped that the mosquitoes decided to stay in bed.
