I've been off list for a bit as life is busy.
Supposedly Norton improved the performance of their anti-virus, so I tried
it last year. It was a mistake. I'm back to Nod32.
Make sure you use the special Norton removal tool. Their software is the
closest thing to a rootkit that is legal.
It is always interesting when people remove the anti-virus and their computer
feels like a young buckaroo again.
I have had issues with Nod32 in the past interfering with subversion for
software version control. I sent a bug report and in about a day, the problem
disappeared with one of their updates.
