What is confusing / shocking though is that, 2 weeks ago, when I spoke
to the technician in Hauppauge (who would have been the guy DOING the
"refurbishment"). He asked me if I knew where he could get foam for the
slots and hinge area so he could fix up his own cameras for sale. I said
"you mean you don't have slot foam in stock as a repair part". He
grimaced and shook his head "no".
