I've found it hard to find definitive estimations of sizes Carpet
Pythons grow to: basically anything from 2.5-3.5 metres (about 8-11.5
feet). I found mention of a "record" for the largest found being 14
feet, but that would, I imagine, be the exception. I know we saw one
down in Noosa Woods that was an easy 8 feet, and that we had to drag
Maggie (one of our dogs) away from (she's a curious lass, and a
huntress). Being pythons, of course, you don't have to worry so much
about their bite as with the Rattlers. :)
